Clinical Support – Aged Care Assessments

About the role
As part of the Clinical Support team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for older Australians by:
- Providing clinical advice
- Determining the eligibility of a client for an Aged Care Needs Assessment
- Undertaking reviews of clients’ needs
- Making delegate decisions as per the new Aged Care Act.

- Team orientated with a focus on efficient service delivery.
Requirements
- Tertiary education in a health‑related discipline. E.g. registered nurses, medical officers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and social workers.
- Current unrestricted General Registration with AHPRA or relevant professional association.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Aged Care Needs Assessments.
- Experience in determining client’s needs and/or service delivery in a community or health‑related position.
- Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and client‑management systems.
- Current Australian driver’s licence, a comprehensively insured vehicle and ability to travel as required.
