Location Sydney C B D, Australia Sector IT Salary $150,000.00 to $178,000.00 per annum

Our client is an Australian fintech on a mission to simplify payments for industries that traditional providers often overlook. They’re building smart, end-to-end payment solutions that help businesses collect and send funds seamlessly—from card acquiring and real-time bank transfers to virtual cards and fraud prevention.

They’re growing fast across Australia and New Zealand with new international markets on the horizon and they’re looking for a passionate Full‑Stack Engineer to help shape what’s next.

This is a mid level role paying between $160 - $180k package

What You’ll Be Doing

- Building scalable, secure applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.

- Creating smooth connections between the frontend and backend for fast, reliable performance.

- Designing cloud-native, microservices‑based solutions that can scale globally.

- Writing clean, testable code with solid unit and integration coverage.

- Troubleshooting tricky issues and finding elegant solutions.

- Collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers to bring new ideas to life.

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years’ experience as a Full‑Stack Engineer - Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.

- Solid SQL and database management skills.

- Experience working with microservices and cloud‑native platforms.

- A focus on performance, scalability, and security.

- Strong communication skills and a genuine team mindset.

- Experience of working in small to medium sized companies before.
