About RAMJO

Joint Organisations are legislated groupings of regional councils across NSW. The Riverina and Murray Joint Organisation (RAMJO) comprises the following 11 Councils: Albury City, Berrigan Shire, Edward River, Federation Shire, Griffith City, Leeton Shire, Murray River, Murrumbidgee, Wentworth, Balranald and Narrandera Shire. NSW Joint Organisations operate to fulfil three primary roles, as follows:

1. Regional strategic planning and priority setting
2. Advocacy and leadership
3. Intergovernmental cooperation.

Through its strong collaborative network, RAMJO works to create a thriving region abundant in sustainable communities via collaborating effectively through strategic planning, priority setting, advocating, engaging with governments and key stakeholders to ensure the long-term sustainability, well-being and liveability of the region’s communities.

About the role

RAMJO is looking for an accomplished executive who can work with the Chair, Deputy Chair and members of the Board, along with the RAMJO General Managers, to fulfil the obligations of the position. The Interim Executive Officer will be a crucial person in the recruitment of the permanent Executive Officer, working with Griffith City Council human resources team to complete this task.

Location: Anywhere within the RAMJO footprint.

Salary: Salary is by negotiation
