About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Accountant to provide effective and value adding accounting services and supportfocusing on financial management and reporting including Treasury,Tax and Audit preparation.
Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, based at ourbeautiful and modern West Perth office near Kings Park, you willsupport on financial accounting matters, providing input into the management accounting and board reporting cycles and work closelywith Finance Business Partners to support a range of financialinitiatives.
About you
You’ll be a resourceful individual who is comfortableworking independently and equally ‘at home’collaborating with others to meet ensure business outcomes areachieved. You will resonate with the MercyCare values and missionin your day to day to create a supportive and positive teamculture, whilst striving for continuous improvement. You will alsohave:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications & professionalmembership (CPA or CA) or currently pursuing CPA or CAcertification
- Experience in preparation of statutory accounts and auditprocess
- Well developed financial accounting skills
- Knowledge of BAS, FBT and other ATO complianceobligations
- Experience with End of Month close, reporting, and Externalaudit experience
- Previous experience within the aged and community careindustry would be advantageous
- Current Drivers Licence
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last sixmonths)
