About The Role
The Capital and Project Accountant works closely with internal TAFE SA stakeholders to provide financial advice, reporting and governance to maintain the integrity and ongoing application of accounting policies, procedures and controls in respect of TAFE SA’s capital programs and projects.
The role ensures effective meaningful and insightful capital program, major capital and strategic project reporting, budget management and costing, and provides financial analysis and support to project owners in the development of business cases.
The successful applicant will have:
- Degree qualification in accounting, economics, information technology, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in coordinating reporting and consolidation of financial information from various sources to prepare meaningful reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge and experience in the application of accounting standards and applied knowledge in asset capitalisation and enterprise portfolio, asset and project management.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting and reporting for capital projects or capital programs.
- Knowledge and experience of SA Government processes and systems regarding the budgeting and reporting of capital projects and programs.
Special Conditions
A valid DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
