About the Centre:

Eastbrooke Medical Centre Southern Highlands (Part of Bupa) has a range of Allied Health Practitioners, including Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Physiotherapy and a Hearing Clinic – and visiting specialists, including Neuro Surgery.

The centre is culturally diversified and, alongside its team of English-speaking doctors, offers a total of 4 languages, including Malay, Cantonese and Mandarin. This clinic also offers free onsite parking for your convenience.

The Opportunity:

We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Eastbrooke Medical Centre in Bowralavailable for Medical Receptionists seeking casual work:

- Working across a rotational roster from 7:45amam - 5pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 7:45am – 1pm.
- Friendly, fun and dedicated team
- Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
- Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- processing payments via EFTPOS, HICAPs and Medicare
- Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality

- High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner

You'll be:

Our Receptionists come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work experiences. To be successful in the role, you'll need:

- Available to work casually across Monday to Saturday
- Previous Medical Reception experience will be highly regarded but not essential, full training provided
- You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about customer service and patient care
- Organised with attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
