Service: Majella Long Day Care + Kindergarten
Time: 6:30 am – 6:00 pm
Qualification Required: ACECQA approved Certificate III in Children Services or Working towards
Pay Rate: $33.03 – $39.94 + Superannuation, based on qualification and experience

Key Responsibilities

- Create engaging, educational activities that promote children's well-being.
- Ensure a safe, supportive environment for children to thrive.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service in line with Catholic Early EdCare’s philosophy.
- Engage in professional development to grow personally and professionally.
- Foster a love of learning in children that will last a lifetime.
- Build strong relationships with families, educators, and the community.

Job Requirements

- Certificate III in Children Services or equivalent or Working towards as per ACECQA guidelines
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks
- A passion for education and care of children aged 6 weeks to Kindergarten in a play-based learning environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Willingness to undertake Child Protection Training
