About the Role
We're looking for a Data Scientist to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This newly created role will focus on uplifting data-driven decision making across our Customer business including Marketing, Loyalty, Digital and Customer Care.
You'll be responsible for building predictive models, analysing performance and delivering insights that empower cross-functional teams to make impactful decisions and create personalised customer experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and deploy predictive models (e.g. churn, next best offer, purchase propensity) using Databricks
- Embed customer insights and predictive scores into a unified Customer 360 view
- Design and execute marketing measurement frameworks (MMM, campaign effectiveness, 1:1 marketing)
- Analyse customer care performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support loyalty program optimisation through data-driven insights
- Advise on data integration strategies for marketing technology platforms
- Design and analyse A/B tests and controlled experiments
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Translate complex analytics into actionable insights for stakeholders
Tools & Technologies you'll bring
Essential are:
- Python
- SQL
And it would great if you have experience with:
- Databricks
- CRM platforms
- ThoughtSpot
- Power BI
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in predictive modeling and machine learning
- Hands-on experience with big data platforms like Databricks
- Expertise in marketing measurement and experimental design
- Familiarity with CDPs, CRM and campaign management tools
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and loyalty analytics
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi stakeholder retail environment
- Passion for improving customer experience through data
