Apermanent part time position commencing 27 January 2026.
This position exists to support the delivery of quality learning and teaching in the Science Faculty. This classroom-based position requires you to work collaboratively with teachers, providing assistance in all areas of student learning and management.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- Extensive experience working in a school science environment or other laboratory.
- Demonstrated ability to interact positively with students.
- Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
- Relevant vocational qualifications such as Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques.
- Experience and knowledge of Work, Health and Safety and compliance requirements in a lab situation.
- Experience with the PB4L framework.
- Ability to maintain accurate and organised resources.
GENERAL CAPABILITIES
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate III School Assistant - Science or equivalent.
- First Aid Certificate
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.
