About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Critical Care Dietitian to join our dynamic team, bringing specialist expertise and a deep commitment to delivering high-quality nutrition and dietetic care. In this rewarding role, you/'ll provide expert clinical services across Critical Care, Spinal and Cardiothoracic services, managing referral pathways, evaluating patient care, and helping shape service delivery through the application of advanced clinical knowledge. You/'ll be instrumental in guiding dietetic practice, driving service development, and leading within your area of specialisation, all while working with a high degree of autonomy.
As a key leader in our department, you’ll also provide clinical supervision and mentoring to dietitians and students, and professional support to peers both within and beyond our organisation. Your expertise will be called upon in a consultancy capacity by multidisciplinary teams across the organisation and the wider region. About You
You’re a dedicated and experienced dietitian with strong clinical expertise, a collaborative approach, and a passion for advancing patient care. You’ll bring:
- Recognised qualifications in Dietetics with eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia.
- Specialist clinical experience, including enteral and parenteral feeding, report writing, and implementing evidence-based nutrition care plans.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Well-developed problem-solving and organisational abilities, with a solid understanding of quality improvement and clinical governance.
