Calvary Adelaide Hospital is the largest private hospital in South Australia, specialising in both acute care and rehabilitation services. We provide a high quality service within a large interdisciplinary Allied Health team, to a range of specialties including critical care, orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, general medical, general surgical, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, neurology and rehabilitation.

We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical dietitian to join our growing Allied Health Team in a 12 month fixed-term contract to support increased growth and demand. Full-time, part-time and casual applicants will be considered.

**The successful applicant will**:
Rotate across various clinical specialties
Participate in the weekend and public holiday service as required, and
Work effectively within a large multidisciplinary team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Manage an allocated workload and participate in clinical rotation using evidence based guidelines to deliver patient centred dietetic services in accordance with professional and ethical standards
Actively participate in a multidisciplinary team with regards to patient care and service development
Contribute to planning, service development and quality activities as guided by the senior dietitians
Ability to provide clinical supervision (as appropriate)
Provide staff education and training as required, and
Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through actively participating in professional development activities and performance appraisal and development.

**What you bring**:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
Eligibility to hold the Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) credential
High standard of clinical and professional practice using evidence based practice
Able to work well within a team
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills to effectively manage a clinical caseload
Ability to participate in regular weekend and public holiday service, and
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
