📍 Dayton, Perth WA
Responsibilities
- Planning, preparing, and cooking balanced menus for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea with management approval and within the centre’s budget.
- Ensuring you are fully aware of and cater to the specific allergy & dietary requirements of all the children.
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of hygiene, health, and safety in the kitchen at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cooking for large groups of children aged 0‑6 years (desirable)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervision Skill Set Certificate
- Hold a Cert 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (desirable)
- Experience in a home or commercial kitchen is preferred
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current WA Working with Children check
