Nexia's Tax Consulting division is seeking a Tax Advisor at Intermediate or Senior level, to join us and provide quality service to our clients.

The Opportunity

Join our expanding specialist tax consulting team which offers income tax and GST advisory services. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our tax team and other service lines to consult clients on a wide variety of generalist income tax and GST issues including business sales, restructures, various CGT concessions and rollovers, tax consolidations and international tax issues.

Ideally, you have a background in corporate tax consulting in either a Big 4 or a significant second‑tier accounting practice. Candidates with corporate business experience will also be considered. We support flexible work arrangements and welcome applicants on either a part‑time or full‑time basis.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

- Prepare tax technical research and written advice on income tax and GST matters

- Interpret legislation, case law, and ATO guidance to support client solutions

- Work with the Senior Advisors, Managers and Directors to service our diverse client base

What You’ll Bring

- Strong tax technical knowledge and commercial insight

- Experience interpreting legislation, case law, and ATO guidance

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- A proactive approach to identifying tax issues and delivering solutions

- Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Bachelor’s Degree

- CA or CPA certification underway or already completed – desirable but not essential
