A skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic is required. As a Motor Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure their safety, reliability and performance. This is a full‑time ongoing role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical problems and dismantle vehicle components to evaluate wear and damage.
- Repair or replace faulty or worn‑out parts, following service manuals and industry standards.
- Carry out routine maintenance, such as oil changes, lubrication and engine tune‑ups, to enhance performance and comply with emissions regulations.
- Work with supervision to reassemble engines and components, ensuring proper fitting and thorough testing of all parts.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used and customer service reports.
- Follow all workshop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.
- Explain vehicle issues and repair options to customers, offering clear cost estimates and maintenance recommendations.
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify mechanical issues and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
- Test and adjust mechanical components after repair to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis.
- 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience in a Motor Mechanic role.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
