Salary: PSO Level 5 $105,167 - $114,938 per annum pro rata

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent and Fixed Term Full Time and Part Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile

The Analyst and Research Officer supports and undertakes the review and delivery of epidemiological data, analysis and research used by internal/external customers and stakeholders to support strategic health policy and planning decisions.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

- Demonstrated skills and experience in epidemiology, analysis and research including reporting of health status, health risk factors and/or health utilisation data.

- Written and verbal communication skills including the preparation of reports, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of clients and stakeholders in various contexts.

- Demonstrated conceptual and problem‑solving skills.
