Our dream candidate will be an outstanding performer with recent experience in Human Resources (administration or coordinator), who is looking to work in a rewarding environment where they can grow as an individual but also contribute to the successful growth of our Place people and businesses.

Your role will be more diverse and varied than you have ever imagined, with a great opportunity to advance your skills and nurture your true generalist nature. Be prepared to be pulled in several directions, whilst supporting the needs of the 400+ staff members across 17 sales offices and our corporate function.

This is a full-time opportunity is available for commencement from the start of July 2025 and will be based at our beautiful Head Office located on James Street, New Farm.

Responsibilities:

- Work in conjunction with our internal recruiter for your portfolio's recruitment efforts including taking client briefs, participating in interviews where required and managing job offer paperwork.
- Manage the employee onboarding process, including preparing new hire documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Prepare additional HR documentation including employment agreements, commission structures, policies, and miscellaneous employment letters.
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and increase employee satisfaction and retention.
- Administer employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth transition out of the company.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for employees, including training sessions and career advancement programs.
- Conduct performance management and additional employment relations processes alongside business leaders to get the best out of our people.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Other tasks including but not limited to HR routine reporting, legislation updates and maintenance of employee records.

Requirements:

- Certificate IV or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a HR administration or coordinator role is preferred
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and offboarding processes
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
