The Mechanical Apprentice carries out tasks in support of the Mechanical program under instruction of a qualified Mechanical Fitter**Nature of position:** Permanent, Full Time**Location:** Brisbane, QLD**Reporting Line:** Mechanical Supervisor**Key Responsibilities*** Lead with Safety front of mind and be an advocate for our values Delivery, People and Accountability* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on various water and wastewater infrastructure to ensure assets are performing at their best* Perform Wastewater, Water Construction and Maintenance tasks* Undertake and participate in job and plant hazard identification and incident notifications* Attend and actively participate in team and toolbox meetings* Lead or assist in the completion of a job through the mobile field computing system* Installation and augmentation of major assets/ plant/ installations* Maintenance job compliance and ensuring processes and procedures are followed to maintain a safe workplace**About You*** Current Driver’s License* Ability to integrate with and cooperate as part of a multidisciplinary team* Ability to work with external personal including sub-contractors and clients in a professional and courteous manner* Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel)*Service Stream is an equal opportunity ASX-listed business that develops and operates Australia's essential services networks across telecommunications, utilities, transport, defence, and social infrastructure industries.
