As a Lead Civil Engineer (Bulk Water) joining our NSW & ACT Water Utilities Team, you will play an integral part in a highly skilled team to engineer resilient and sustainable water infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead successful multi-disciplinary teams to deliver challenging and complex water and wastewater concept and detailed design projects for our clients including Sydney Water, Hunter Water, Icon Water, and State and Federal Governments
- Lead the civil design and hydraulic analysis of water and wastewater network infrastructure including pipelines and pumping stations
- Produce and champion the delivery of high-quality technical outputs to meet client expectations including design documents, reports, specifications and presentations
- Apply your communication and leadership skills to lead effective conversations with our clients and stakeholders to solve their complex issues in a technically-sound and commercially viable manner
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as well as a commitment to your own ongoing learning and professional development
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external networks and lead business development opportunities including tender responses
What you will bring / Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Chartered status with Engineers Australia (or ability to obtain)
- Extensive design experience working on water and wastewater infrastructure projects including pipelines and pump stations
- Knowledge of Australian water industry standards and codes
- Experience in design software packages with AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience highly desirable
- Experience in detailed design and construction is highly desirable
Additionally, you will showcase your strong internal and external stakeholder management experience, a can-do attitude and importantly a strong team player who works well in an agile and collaborative environment.
