The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to join our Finance team working from our Upper Mount Gravatt Office. This is a pivotal, end-to-end payroll role where you’ll take ownership of payroll operations across our growing workforce.

You’ll work collaboratively with HR and operational managers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience. This role is full time Monday to Friday based on site with potential for access to RDO or 9 day fortnight.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full end‑to‑end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant awards and legislation.

- Maintain and reconcile payroll records, including leave, allowances, overtime, and salary sacrifice reconciliations.

- Respond to payroll related queries and provide clear, professional advice to managers.

- Collaborate with HR on employee onboarding, status changes, and workforce planning.

- Assist with superannuation processing, payroll reporting, and audit requirements.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to system and efficiency enhancements.

About You

You’re an experienced payroll professional who brings both technical expertise and a genuine commitment to service excellence. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

- Minimum five years’ experience managing payroll for 500+ employees.

- Sound understanding of payroll legislation, industrial awards, and compliance.

- Proficiency in Access Micropay (or similar payroll systems).

- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.

- Valid Queensland drivers licence.

What We Offer

- $100,000 + superannuation.

- Not‑for‑profit salary packaging of up to $15,900 tax‑free per year.

- Access to an on‑site gym and clinical exercise physiologist.

- Supportive, values‑based culture where your contribution is genuinely valued.

- Ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.
