Process Improvement Specialist

- Full time, fixed term role for 12 months
- Geelong office location, with flexible hybrid working (3 day office attendance required per week)
- Offering a competitive starting base salary of $109,195 plus super and benefits

About the role

We’re seeking a proactive and analytical Process Improvement Specialist to help us unlock efficiencies and prepare for the future. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on delivering tangible short-term wins while also identifying strategic opportunities for long-term transformation – especially those enabled by automation and emerging technologies.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to uncover inefficiencies, facilitate workshops, and embed sustainable change. From process mapping and governance to risk mitigation and quality assurance, your insights will help us simplify the complex and make every conversation count.

About the Team

You’ll join the Enterprise Transformation division, a dynamic and future focused group driving strategic change across the organisation. You’ll be working within a multidisciplinary environment, working closely with project managers, business analysts, change leads, and other transformation specialists to deliver impactful initiatives. You’ll also partner with the Claims Systems team to ensure improvements are grounded in operational reality and aligned with broader business goals. Together, we’re shaping smarter systems and better outcomes for our clients.

What we’re looking for

Proven Experience in Process Improvement

You’ve led initiatives across teams or divisions using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies. You’re confident in process mapping, root cause analysis, and workshop facilitation – and you know how to turn insights into action.

Strategic Thinking

You balance short term improvements with long term transformation. You’re skilled at identifying automation opportunities and working with digital teams to bring them to life.

Highly Developed Communication

You’re comfortable engaging senior leaders, writing professional reports, and navigating risk and quality frameworks. You bring clarity to complex problems and help others do the same.
