Senior Accountant - Entertainment

Company Background

Have you ever wanted to work for an entertainment company, immediately recognised around the world? With a significant online, retail and live scene presence their brand is synonymous with the music, streaming and movie industries.

The Role

As the Senior Accountant, you will report to a Financial Controller and you will get involved in the following:

- Financial reporting, month-end, including preparation of journals and balance sheet reconciliations

- Financial account review and analysis

- Preparing financial forecasts and budgets

- Processing of the monthly payroll

- Preparation of the FBT returns and quarterly tax reporting

- Business partnering with internal departments

Your Background

To be considered for this Senior Accountant role you will need the following background:

- Be a fully or part qualified (e.g. CA/CPA/CIMA)

- Experience working as a Financial or Management Accountant ready to step up OR be at the Senior Accountant level and wanting to work in the entertainment/music industry

- Solid exposure to preparation of the GL for month-end

- Energy, drive and willingness to learn

- A great 'can-do' attitude
