About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Anaesthetist Consultant to provide short-term coverage at a leading 160-bed regional hospital in Dubbo, NSW, from 19 - 21 October 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthetic services across a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring safe and effective patient care from pre-operative assessment through to recovery. The position includes a mix of day lists and on-call shifts, allowing you to work closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and other specialists to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. You will join a team known for its collaborative approach and commitment to excellence in patient care. The hospital is equipped with modern operating theatres and advanced monitoring technology, providing the ideal environment for professional practice. This locum opportunity is perfect for anaesthetists who enjoy contributing their expertise in a supportive, regional setting while maintaining flexibility and work-life balance.

About You
- Relevant Tertiary qualification and current registration
- Active listener and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated high standard of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, time management and organisation to ensure effective teamwork
- Current police check
- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian or New Zealand citizenship required
