Your role

As our Communications Manager, Visual Arts, you’ll lead the development and delivery of effective communications strategies to increase visibility and engage audiences for the delivery of the Venice Biennale.

What you’ll be doing

- Developing and implementing targeted high quality communication plansand events for the delivery of the Venice Biennale including relevant communications materials (eg, media releases and talking points).

- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage culturally sensitive content and communications, ensuring perspectives are accurately represented and aligned with the organisation’s messages.

- Managing the corporate communications calendar related to communication activities for the Venice Biennale to ensure the timely and coordinated release of information and key events.

- Monitoring media mentions using the Streem platform and compiling media clippings in Australia and internationally.

- Logging and tracking all media enquiries including responding to general media enquiries to determine appropriate responses.

- Providing the Head of Public Affairs and Head of Visual Arts with specialist advice and regular reporting on the performance of communications campaigns for the Venice Biennale.

- Salary of $ 114,580 per annum + 12% superannuation
