About the Role
You will provide hands‑on clinical pharmacy services, support patient care and work closely with a multidisciplinary team. This is the perfect environment to sharpen your skills and gain experience that will open doors to future opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide efficient clinical pharmacy services to a clinical area.
- Conduct medication history interviews, medication reconciliation and pharmaceutical reviews at transfers of care.
- Be efficient and effective dispensing and distribution of medication.
- Conduct therapeutic drug monitoring, monitor medication outcomes and adverse drug reaction management.
- Provide medication counselling & education to patients.
- Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide advice about patient care.
- Contribute to training and educational sessions for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff and allied health professionals.
- Support the quality use of medicines by participating in projects, audits, working groups or committees as required.
- Contribute to on‑call and weekend services.
- Opportunity to be introduced to our oncology pharmacy services.
About You
You’re a newly registered or early career Pharmacist ready to take the next step in your professional journey. You’ve built a strong foundation in pharmacy practice and are now seeking opportunities to broaden your scope and grow your clinical expertise in a hospital setting.
Hospital experience isn’t required as we’ll provide comprehensive training to support your transition. What matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Essential requirements
- Australian working rights, valid for at least 12‑months from date of employment.
- Pharmacist registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice.
- Permanent Australian working rights.
