About the role

We're looking for an experiencedMaintenance Officer to join us in this Full Time position, 38 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Estia Health Victoria Heights is located in the heart of Bendigo, a vibrant regional city in central Victoria, approximately 150km north-west of Melbourne. Please note this role is not based in metropolitan Melbourne, and applicants will need to live locally or be willing to relocate.

You'll take pride in the presentation of a well maintained home and join a team of dedicated and caring individuals that are enriching and celebrating residents' lives everyday

What we're looking for:

- Ability to manage preventative maintenance schedules and reactive repairs
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements in an aged care setting
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with residents and staff
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential)
