Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO)

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO) to join its executive leadership team. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving technology strategy, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technology and operations functions, including digital transformation, data governance, and risk management.
- Oversee regulatory reporting and compliance with APRA standards (FAR, CPS 230, CPS 234).
- Manage IT strategy, cybersecurity, and change management initiatives.
- Chair and contribute to executive and board-level committees.
- Supervise service provider performance and outsourced operations.
- Lead business continuity planning, project delivery, and data engineering practices.

About You

- 15+ years of leadership experience in technology and operations within financial services (insurance, banking, capital markets).
- Strong understanding of APRA regulatory frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
