The Role

CBH Group is seeking a commercially minded and strategic Analyst to join our Strategy & Sustainability team.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and business units to shape the future of Australia’s largest grain cooperative.

You’ll play a key role in supporting corporate strategy development & business unit plans, facilitating strategic planning forums, and identifying opportunities and risks that influence long‑term success.

Location: Perth CBD offices

Responsibilities include:

- Support the development and refresh of corporate and business unit strategies including long‑term planning, benchmarking, and competitor analysis

- Collaborate with internal teams, senior leaders, and external stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and present insights that inform key decisions

- Prepare financial models, conduct due diligence, and assess business opportunities to support investment and growth initiatives

- Lead smaller strategic projects and contribute to the delivery of larger, cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets

- Enhance team effectiveness by contributing to the development of strategy tools, templates, and planning processes

About You:

- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering or a related field, with 1–2 years’ experience in commercial professional services or corporate strategy and planning

- Strong capability in financial modelling, business case development, and evaluating commercial feasibility of projects

- Proven ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and the Board

- Project management experience and knowledge of commodity trading or supply chain operations are desirable
