We are currently seeking Gastroenterology Consultant Physicians to join our team at Rockingham Hospital's Surgical and Specialist Care Division.

This is a recruitment pool for sessional, permanent or fixed term appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

As a Gastroenterology Consultant Physician, you will:

- Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist gastroenterology services to patients
- Promote patient safety and quality of care
- Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for Doctors in Training (DiT’s), health service medical practitioners and other health workers
- In collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants, work to achieve national, state and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and targets
- Work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
