Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage a wide variety of Defence projects including utilities and infrastructure upgrades, building refurbishments and new build projects. From a site perspective, you will be involved in:

- Site Management of the project from set up to completion

- Ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements

- Ensuring effective cost control and efficient running of the project

- Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors

- Project progress reporting to the Project Management

- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program

ABOUT YOU

- Demonstrated experience in a Site Manager role with construction main contractors

- Tertiary or trade qualifications in Construction Management or Engineering

- Defence project experience highly regarded

- Leadership qualities with a proven ability to develop employees and build strong successful teams

- Flexible to travel as required between sites across Southern QLD

- Cert IV in OHS is advantageous

- Current Driving Licence

- A police clearance that is within 12 months (or a willingness to obtain one – which we will pay for if you are successful)
