Undergraduate Engineer

Bielby is a Queensland-based civil engineering company providing leading earthworks and infrastructure capabilities to clients across Australia. We collaborate with clients and project partners and have four decades of operational history with strong client relationships and a focus on delivering value through professional services across road, rail, water, ports and marine, airports and airfield infrastructure, and earthworks and supporting infrastructure for the resource sector. The Role

We are currently seeking applications for Undergraduate Engineers based at our corporate head office in Milton and on project sites in Brisbane. Successful candidates will be graduating from a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) in 2026, and Bielby Undergraduates will receive priority consideration for our Graduate roles in future years.

These roles will support your development as a civil engineering professional, with guidance from experienced Civil Engineers, Project Managers and discipline specialists. You will be exposed to a variety of projects in roads, renewables and rail, and you can develop skills in Site Engineering, Estimating, Commercial and other specialities.

For Undergraduate Engineers, we will work with your University schedule and are flexible around studies. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work two or three days per week during the university semester, with opportunities to increase days during summer and winter holidays.

About You

We are seeking candidates who possess the following:

- Currently studying Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), with expected graduation in 2026 (mid or end of year)

- Ability to work collaboratively with Bielby, client and supplier representatives

- High levels of motivation, integrity and accountability

- Problem solving and innovation skills

- Potential for leadership and influencing aptitude

- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development
