About You

- Be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Have a commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic Identity and a willingness to gain accreditation with support from within.
- Have an ability to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.
- Have the ability to foster effective relationships with student, staff, parents and the St Mary/'s Parish community.
- Show enthusiasm for delivering outstanding learning and teaching.
- Exhibit an adaptable, agile mindset, remain calm under pressure and think clearly in stressful situations.
- Actively monitor and support student wellbeing.
- Provide Pastoral care that aligns with the school/'s values.
- Contribute positively to team dynamics.

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment.

Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students.

The Magnify Sandhurst program combines evidence-based practices in teaching and learning to support each student/'s unique needs, strengths, and goals, focusing on strengthening core areas like literacy and numeracy, building supportive classroom environments, and integrating Catholic values in daily learning.
