As an Employment Consultant in the recently announced Inclusive Employment Australia program, you’ll work closely with people with disability to connect them to sustainable employment opportunities. You will guide, support, and motivate participants on their journey to employment, while developing strong relationships with employers and support organisations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Providing coaching and support at workplaces and remotely for job seekers and employers to facilitate independence and suitable ongoing employment
- Collaborating with employers to develop and implement tailored workplace support plans and strategies
- Developing positive partnerships with employers and local community support organisations
- Supporting the delivery of learning and development initiatives to enhance workplace skills for people with disability
- Marketing your participants’ skills to prospective employers
- Achieving program performance and quality benchmarks
- Keeping detailed, accurate records and adhering to all compliance requirements

- Passionate & Motivated with a positive attitude and a strong desire to help people with disability succeed in employment
- Relationship Builders who have strong customer service skills and can build positive relationships with participants and employers
- Quality focused with an attention to detail and an ability to follow guidelines
- Problem solvers with the ability to tailor and implement individualised workplace strategies and plans to support participants in sustainable employment
- Tech-Savvy and confident in using computers and online systems
- Confident working independently and across a range of workplace environments

This position requires the successful applicant to undertake a National Police Check and relevant state-based screens. Applicants also must have the right to work in Australia and hold a valid driver’s licence with reliable transport.
