The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
Due to an internal secondment opportunity we are now seeking a Sourcing & Procurement Business Partner (ICT) to join us on a 17-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll partner with internal stakeholders to shape medium-to-long-term procurement strategies, lead sourcing activities from tender to contract award, and manage key supplier relationships.
As part of our Procurement team, you’ll gain end-to-end exposure across IT category management, sourcing, contract development and management, supplier relationship management, market analysis, and risk mitigation—contributing to strategic initiatives that support Transgrid’s future needs.
About You
We’re seeking a collaborative, technically capable professional who can step straight into the role. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Tertiary qualifications or 5+ years’ experience in a similar industry
- Proven success in procurement strategy, sourcing, and supplier relationship management
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
- Ability to challenge the norm, drive efficient outcomes, and work with professionalism and integrity
- Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g. SAP/Ariba) and legal frameworks is desirable
