We are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Technicians to join Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Brisbane North, based in Pinkenba.

Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Australia are primary vehicle distribution centres for Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, and UD Trucks, offering sales, service, and parts for Volvo Group vehicles.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the team of roughly 43 includes Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, Apprentices, Service Advisors, and a Costing Clerk. The team prides itself on running a quality and highly efficient operation in a supportive environment.

What you will do

Your role as a Heavy Vehicle Technician will include:

- Steering and suspension repairs
- Electrical fault diagnosis and repairs
- Braking system diagnosis and repairs
- Preventative maintenance services and repairs
- Offsite and breakdown repairs

Who are you?

As a skilled Technician, you will bring:

- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Proven experience working on trucks and/or buses in a commercial environment
- Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
- A proactive attitude with a drive to work efficiently
- A positive safety attitude and team-focused mindset
- A passion for delivering quality work
- Legal working rights in Australia
