We are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician's to join Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Brisbane North, based in Pinkenba.
Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Australia are primary vehicle distribution centre's for Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks, offering sales, service and parts for Volvo Group vehicles.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the team of roughly 43 is made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, Apprentices, Service Advisor's and Costing Clerk's. The team pride themselves on running a quality and highly efficient operation, in a supportive team environment.

As a Heavy Vehicle Technician, your role will include:
- Steering and suspension repairs
- Electrical faults, diagnosis and repairs
- Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
- Preventative maintenance services and repairs
- Offisite and breakdown repairs
As a skilled Technician, you will bring:
- Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience working in a commercial environment on trucks and / or buses
- Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
- A pro-active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
- A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindset
- A passion for providing quality work
- Appropriate working rights to work permanently in Australia
