Responsibilities

- Postgres DBA to support, manage and maintain our database workloads.
- Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS).
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and security by establishing database access controls and backup protocols.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and archiving.
- Develop and implement database recovery plans and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to design database schemas and optimize queries.
- Analyse and troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies.
