As a key part of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while reporting to the client daily. Your role will also involve loading and unloading duties, ensuring all freight is handled with care and in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations.
Report to the client at the start of each day to receive and complete assigned tasks.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage (site dependant).
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it's in good working condition.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete necessary paperwork.
Follow traffic laws and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Communicate with the client and team regarding any issues, delays, or updates.

Requirements:

Valid HR drivers license with ability to drive manual transmission.
Proven experience as a truck driver with loading/unloading experience preferred.
Vehicle loading crane ticked preferred.
Ability to perform manual tasks.
Excellent time-management skills and a strong work ethic.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Ability to work independently and report to clients effectively.
Flexibility to work varying hours and overtime if necessary.
