About the team

As part of the Creative Activities team, you’ll help to promote our Arts & Culture offerings across our 3 venues and help shape communications to a vibrant local community.

About this opportunity

We are looking for an Arts Development & Marketing Officer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and deliver marketing plans, brand campaigns and audience development activities to showcase the Arts & Culture offerings under the Kingston Arts brand.

Responsibilities

- Plan, develop and manage multiple concurrent creative campaigns
- Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders across Council departments to leverage marketing opportunities and channels
- Evaluate and report campaign performance against overarching strategy
- Create, ideate, and source creative materials for engaging content, in-line with brand identity and audience needs.

Qualifications

- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to adapt to unique challenges and situations.
- Experience in developing and delivering multiple concurrent promotional projects, targeted to diverse audiences, across a range of digital and traditional channels.
- Demonstrated skill in creating bespoke, engaging collateral, whilst maintaining brand identity and personality.
- Team player committed to creating safe and inclusive culture, where individuality and creativity thrive.
- A degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations, or a diploma with relevant work experience. (and 5+ years experience in creative marketing or communications role, preferably in Arts & Culture, events, or entertainment industry.)
