The Role - Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on underground mining electrical systems - Work on Sandvik, Epiroc, and Normet mobile plant and AutoMine technology - Support the maintenance team with troubleshooting and breakdown repairs - Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards - Assist in AutoMine and tele-remote system installations and maintenance - Diverse Equipment: Work with Sandvik trucks, drills, boggers, and other key machinery. - Team Culture: Enjoy a supportive team atmosphere - Surface and Underground workshops both well equipped with overhead cranes and concrete pads Mine Site Amenities Located in the Pilbara, this site is large and well established with comfortable facilities: - Quality Accommodation: Air-conditioned en-suite rooms with night shift shading. - Food & Recreation: Diverse dining options, a well-managed Wet Mess, gym, swimming pool, and courts. - Minimal Commute: Conveniently close airstrip, camp, and work site reduce travel time. Who You Are You're a trade-qualified Auto Electrician with 1-2 years/' experience in heavy road transport, mining, forestry or agriculture. You'll bring: - A desire to excel in underground hard rock mining. - A "can-do" attitude and team spirit. - Cert II in Air Conditioning - A commitment to safety and continuous learning.
