Cluster Manager

Viva Leisure parent company to hiit republic one of Australia’s leading fitness companies are looking for a new Cluster Manager to join the team on a permanent full-time basis in ACT

Founded in 2004, Viva Leisure operates fitness clubs within the health and leisure industry. We have a trajectory of growth as the largest independent health club operator in Australia and are the first fitness facility operator to list on the Australian Securities Exchange.

As a Cluster Manager, you’ll lead the success of multiple studios while managing your own “homestudio.” You’ll support and mentor Studio Managers, drive performance standards, and ensure facilities deliver an exceptional member experience. Representing hiit republic in the community, you’ll be accountable for member growth, operational excellence, and financial performance across your cluster.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire teams, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. You’ll create a high-performing culture that delivers excellence in member experience, people management, and business growth.

Skills & Experience

- Proven leadership across multiple sites, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong operational management skills, including process optimisation, safety, and presentation standards.
- Track record of achieving KPIs in membership growth, retention, revenue, and staff performance.
- Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Skilled in managing projects such as new openings, refurbishments, and major events.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, building strong relationships with staff, members, and partners.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional member experiences.
- Adaptability and innovation in responding to challenges, trends, and change.

Qualifications

- Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Fitness (Desirable)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead multiple studios to deliver exceptional member experiences, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and presentation.
- Drive membership growth and retention through sales processes, local marketing initiatives, and strong community engagement.
- Oversee daily operations including rostering, payroll, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and studio presentation.
- Mentor and support Studio Managers and staff, fostering a high-performing culture and developing future leaders.
- Monitor KPIs, budgets, and financial performance, implementing strategies to maximise revenue and operational efficiency.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality classes and programs through coaching, assessment, and staff development.
