The Role

A Designer at LSKD translates our brand's vision, values and creative direction into innovative and compelling product designs. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for design will drive the development of products for your category that resonate with our community, while also meeting functional, aesthetic, and market requirements.

LSKD is an Australian-owned and operated brand with our HQ in Loganholme, that prides itself in producing high-quality functional sportswear with a street aesthetic. Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Follow the LSKD operating principles

Be Hungry, Humble Smart; and lead the brand with integrity

Collaborate with Creative Direction to understand the LSKD's product vision and community needs

Collaborate merchandise teams to build your categories ranges through creative concepts and design

Apply insights from thorough athlete testing and to improve and optimise product performance and durability, and proactively identify any performance issues

Translate conceptual ideas into detailed sketches and digital renderings, and then effectively communicate design concepts, proportions, and details

Develop comprehensive technical drawings and specifications that guide the product development process, including construction details, materials, and dimensions

Participate in the review and refinement of prototypes and samples, providing feedback on design aesthetics, fit, comfort, and functionality

Research and evaluate materials, trims, and embellishments to ensure optimal performance, quality, and aesthetic appeal, while also considering cost and sustainability factors

Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings, leveraging insights to inform design decisions and maintain LSKD's competitive edge

Collaborate with the graphics team to develop colour palettes, prints, and graphics that enhance the visual impact of LSKD products and resonate with our target audience

Work closely with product development, sourcing, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment throughout the product life cycle, from concept development to production and launch

- Experience with activewear fabrics is highly desirable
- Ability to hit deadlines and work that extra mile to get the job done on time
- Analytical and adaptable - we're growing exponentially, which means exciting changes left right and centre
