Your new role

Working alongside the Towns Information and Parking officers,the primary responsibility of the Ranger role is to enforceCouncil’s Local Laws and various legislative requirementsrelating to animals, litter and bushfire control.

What you’ll need to succeed

- Completion of or progression towards a Regulatory OfficerCompliance Skills (ROCS) 1 and 2.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, decision making andproblem-solving skills.
- Dog and cat management experience including dog attackinvestigation, impoundments and issuing infringements.
- Enforcement of Local Laws including breach investigation,prosecution, and court appearances.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work within a
- Capacity to interpret and apply legislation and Valuesdriven with a team and customer focus.
- Intermediate technology and computer literacy
- Current National Police Certificate.
