About the Opportunity

A permanent full time role exists within the Cool Room team in Forrestdale. You need to be customer focused and have experience in forklift operation. Experience in picking and packing of product to customer orders is advantageous. We are a close knit team, so effective communication skills and teamwork are a must.

Duties include:

- Manually picking of orders correctly, palletising and labelling to customer.
- Load and unload trucks as required observing all the necessary safety requirements.
- Ensure vehicles are loaded in a timely fashion meeting time slots and as per the production requirements and the work flow.
- Follow housekeeping and hygiene processes and procedures.
- Ensure stock is correctly received, stored, recorded and issued in saleable condition.
- Responsible for the safe operation of forklift.
- Ensure all customer orders and receipts are accompanied by correct paperwork.
- Report any problems which may occur and could disrupt the smooth running of the operation.
- Assist in the training of new staff and/or functions as required.
- All other duties pertaining to scope and objective of role.

To be considered for this position the following will be advantageous:

- A current Forklift licence (required)
- Current and/or previous Warehouse Operator experience.
- Computer literacy including experience using Microsoft Office and computer based maintenance systems.

The successful candidate will be flexible to changing work hours and overtime from time to time as required by the business which may include shift work. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to being part of a high performing team is essential. You'll welcome feedback to improve your own performance, and enjoy being part of a team.
