A bout the Role

UGL is seeking Electrical S26 Supervisors for an upcoming shutdown in the Pilbara, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and Lead:Directly manage and lead a team of E&I or SMP tradespeople to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.
- Safety Compliance:Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all SMP activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
- Quality Assurance:Monitor and inspect E&I and SMP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Resource Allocation:Efficiently utilise resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Communication:Foster effective communication within the SMP team and collaborate with other superintendent and project manager to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to E&I and SMP activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of E&I and SMP activities, including daily reports, and any required project documentation.

About You:

You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have

- DMIR S26 Training
- Availability from end of June - July
- BHP Inducted (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical supervision
- Proficient knowledge of structural, mechanical, piping systems, and electrical
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with WA mining safety regulations
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams
- White Card
