Job Description - Electrical Supervisor (263895)

About the Role

UGL is seeking Electrical S26 Supervisors for an upcoming shutdown in the Pilbara, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and Lead: Directly manage and lead a team of E&I or SMP tradespeople to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.
  2. Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all SMP activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
  3. Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect E&I and SMP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
  4. Resource Allocation: Efficiently utilise resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  5. Communication: Foster effective communication within the SMP team and collaborate with other superintendents and the project manager to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
  6. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to E&I and SMP activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  7. Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of E&I and SMP activities, including daily reports and other required project documentation.

About You:

You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills, and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally, you will have:

  • DMIR S26 Training
  • Availability from end of June - July
  • BHP Inducted (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical supervision
  • Proficient knowledge of structural, mechanical, piping systems, and electrical
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with WA mining safety regulations
  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams
  • White Card
