The Role

Adbri Cement is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Electrician Technician to join our Electrical Maintenance Team at our Birkenhead site. In this day work role, you will be responsible for electrical and instrumentation maintenance across fixed plant equipment, supporting planned and preventative maintenance activities and contributing to ongoing site improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on a range of fixed plant equipment.

- Conduct planned, predictive, and preventative maintenance tasks to optimise plant performance.

- Provide leadership and commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

- Carry out administrative tasks within the ERP system (SAP or similar).

- Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on site.

What You Will Need to Succeed

- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (essential).

- Proven high-voltage switching experience. (desirable)

- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) ticket.

- Experience working in heavy industry or mining environments (essential).

- PLC diagnostic experience (essential); PLC programming experience (desirable).

- Familiarity with SCADA systems (CITECT or equivalent desirable).

- Strong computer literacy, with experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.

- A confident, self-motivated, energetic individual

- A team player with a high degree of trade flexibility

- Available for call-out and shutdown overtime as well as relief shift duties
