K.D. Fisher & Co. Pty. Ltd. is a small Australian family owned & operated company, established in 1972.

We have close to 45 years' experience and expertise in the Gas Detection industry, and are a leader in supply, service, installations and calibration. We have an opportunity for an Instrumentation &/or electrical service technician to join our team.

Candidates must have 1-2 years of instrumentation or electrical technician experience.

Primary responsibilities include; On-site calibrations, service & maintenance, call-outs & repairs, as well as new Installations at customer sites. And workshop duties (panel building, new gas detectors & systems).

Trade Qualifications; Either a Restricted Licence (REL or D) or an Electrical Licence (A-Grade) is required for the role - or has completed the courses required to attain a restricted licence.

Requirements (Permits / Clearances); Applicant must have (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check & Working With Children's Check (WWCC), as these are required for access to customer sites.

Skills Required; Good Communication, able to organise own schedule, work well in a team, as well as independently. Fault finding capabilities, and able to work well under pressure & respective time-frames.

Package; Generous remuneration for the right applicant. Tools, phone & laptop supplied. Use of company service vehicle.
