Your role as a Delivery & Store Person
As Delivery & Store Person, you will be responsible for the picking-up and transportation of stock to Medical Centres and Collection Centres.You will be ensuring a safe and efficient process as you manage 30+ stops per day, playing a crucial part in providing quality health services to the people in our communities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and delivery of reports and stock control in main laborator
- Compliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Work Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance processes
- Picking and packing of stock orders in a timely manner
- Assist to maintain stores area by ensuring adequate supplies are available
- Assist in regular stocktaking program and maintaining clean and efficient work areas
About you
- Valid open Australian driver’s license with an excellent driving record
- Valid forklift licence would be desirable
- Ability to work various shifts including rostered weekends and public holidays
- Excellent time management skills, juggling up to 30 stops per day
- Physical capability to be able to handle equipment weighing regularly up to 10kg -15kg
- Previous courier experience is considered highly advantageous
- You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work
