ABOUT THE ROLE

In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer experiences to airline travellers. As a Check‑In Crew member, you will be responsible for greeting customers with a smile, ensuring travel documents meet requirements, assigning seats, preparing and issuing boarding passes, managing baggage, assisting with gate boarding, and handling passenger marshalling and disruption management. Your efforts will make a significant impact on travellers’ journeys.

YOUR DUTIES

- Greet customers warmly at check‑in.
- Process and verify travel documents.
- Assign seats and issue boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers.
- Assist with gate boarding procedures.
- Marshal passengers and manage disruptions as needed.

ESSENTIALS

- Professional appearance and demeanour.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
- Capability of obtaining an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays (e.g., Christmas).
- Capacity to undertake shifts between 4‑10 hours per day.
- Ability to work shifts spanning 04:00 - 02:00
- Shift times are 4‑hours in length:

- Tuesday 15:00 – 19:00

- Wednesday – 04:30 – 08:30 / 20:00 – 00:00

- Thursday – 03:30 – 07:30 / 18:45 – 22:45

- Saturday – 22:00 - 02:00

- Sunday - 18:10 – 22:10

- Commitment to a minimum of 24 hours per fortnight.
- Availability for 2 weeks of full‑time paid training.
