Overview

Laminex is a brand seen on surfaces across hospitals, shopping centres, restaurants, and homes. We manufacture and procure a broad range of products for commercial and residential use such as laminate, engineered stone and panel products to help Australians live in beautiful, practical spaces.

Location: Nestled in Dardanup, WA, this position offers the unique blend of working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with the lifestyle benefits of proximity to Bunbury.

The role

The role: Laminex is looking for 1 x safety-conscious Process Operator to join our Dardanup plant for full-time, rotating 12-hour shifts. A forklift license is required; beyond that we are happy to train you.

You will be an integral member of our manufacturing team and will continue to develop your career within an innovative and driven organisation.

Shift Patterns - 18:00 – 06:00 and 06:00 – 18:00. This is a 24/7 production cycle with 4 on (2 x days, 2 x nights) and 4 off. Weekends are required.

Pay rate is well above award rates, with additional loading and any overtime as required.

Responsibilities / What you’ll do

- Work as part of a manufacturing team in a dynamic environment, following safe work practices.
- Operate in a production line setting as required.
- Complete tasks with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications / Requirements

- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally operating on a production line.
- Competencies with generalist computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Highly safety conscious.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
